Competing Claims at 6th Kruger Science meeting, South Africa
Competing Claims researchers Jessica Milgroom (Plant Production Systems, Wageningen University), Ignas Heitkönig (Resource Ecology, Wageningen University) and Jens Andersson (regional coordinator CC programme), presented at the 6th annual Science Networking Meeting organized by the Scientific Services division of the Kruger National Park in Skukuza, South Africa (21–25 April 2008).
Jessica Milgroom (and co-author Jen Schaffer) presented on the consequences for land use of population resettlement from the Limpopo National Park (LNP) in Mozambique. Ignas Heitkönig and Jens Andersson presented on the relation between conservation and development in the academic and policy discourse on the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation Area (GLTFCA).
