Competing Claims research projects are situated at specific sites (=) in the southern African region, mostly in areas where different land uses are in competition. Currently, there are two focus areas; in and around the Great Limpopo TransFrontier Conservation Area (GLTFCA), and the Mid-Zambezi Valley in northern Zimbabwe. In addition, regional and linked projects look at competing claims from a wider or comparative perspective.
